PRESS CONFERENCE NEW YORK CITY 100th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE INVENTION OF THE BRATHIS FRIDAY MAY 28th

INTRODUCTION OF THE FIRST EVER  HUMAN INTERNAL BRA TO BIG APPLE

WHAT- Former Fashion Institute of Technology professor Lori Thomas and Bra extrodinaress and author of The Bra Book, Jené Luciani join dozens of models attired in periodic brassieres celebrating the 100th anniversary of the invention of the modern bra and the launch of a new advancement in medical technology developed by Park Avenue plastic surgeon Dr. Kaveh Alizadeh. Alizadeh, will introduce the Big Apple's first human bra, which uses a woman's own skin to form a natural internal bra inside her chest. Women who have undergone the new internal bra procedure, called Naturabra, also will be present.

Dr. Alizadeh's NaturaBra™ Breast Lift technique uses the excess skin traditionally discarded in mastopexy surgery to provide more support to the underside of the breasts. This excess tissue is placed beneath the breasts and attached to the chest wall, giving the breasts more structural support, which can allow them to stay in a higher position for a longer period of time.

BACKGROUND- In 1910, Mary Phelps-Jacob of New York City bought an evening gown to wear to an upcoming party and was frustrated with the corset because it was visible underneath the sheer dress.  With the help of her maid, the 19-year-old socialite sewed together two pieces of fabric and some ribbon to make a less visible bra. It was the first modern day bra and the first with a patent (received in 1914).   Before this, women were expected to wear uncomfortable corsets to support their busts – a social convention that was contrived 350 years earlier by Catherine de' Medici, wife of King Henry II of France. Phelps-Jacob, who patented her bra design under name of Caresse Crosby, eventually sold her patent to Warner's, which continues making bras today. Bras are about a $15 billion industry today in the United States.

About Dr. Kaveh - Recently named to Castle Connolly's "Top Doctors: New York Metro Area," Dr. Alizadeh is president of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, the nation's largest and longest running private academic plastic surgery practice with offices in Manhattan, Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens. He also directs a clinical research division that has trained over 100 of the newest and brightest plastic surgeons in the country.

30% emissions cuts would keep EU in front of green energy race

Following the release by the European Commission of its analysis of options to move beyond 20% greenhouse gas emission reductions, the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) today issued a briefing to MEPs, Commission and Member State officials that "urges Council and European Parliament to agree 30% domestic greenhouse gas reductions, in order to maintain Europe's technological and industrial leadership in renewable energy technologies."

The EWEA briefing tells EU decision-makers it is "disappointed that the Communication falls short of recommending an immediate unilateral EU move to a 30% reduction," and that "for Europe to keep its first mover advantage, the EU needs to maintain its momentum in support of its most promising industries. A unilateral move to 30% GHG domestic reductions would maintain such a momentum."

It states that "the EU has been the cradle of renewable energy innovation, particularly wind power, and the European wind industry represents a growing number of jobs (192,000), significant and growing export opportunities, as well as increased energy security and competitiveness."

The EWEA briefing paper points out that "the benefits of moving to 30% outweigh the costs." It adds: "the Commission Communication highlights that the cost of reaching 20% GHG reductions has reduced from €70bn to €48bn, due to the financial crisis. The cost of moving to 30% GHG reductions is estimated to be €81bn, or just €11bn more than the initial estimate to reach 20%."

EWEA Chief Executive, Christian Kjaer, said, "the move to 30% would give a very strong signal to investors that Europe means business when it talks about green growth and a sustainable economy. The offer to go to 30% did not work in the Copenhagen climate summit but it would work in keeping the EU at the forefront of the green technology race. Europe is a world leader in wind energy but faces serious competition from China, the US, Japan, South Korea and India. I would hate to see Europe losing out because it was lulled into a false sense of security due to the failure of the climate negotiations."

LOCAL STRIPPERS OF ILLUSION OF DEERPARK TO HOLD RALLY AND PROTEST FOR NEW YORK STATE STRIPPER POLE TAX TO BE ADDED TO GENTLEMAN'S CLUBS ON LONG ISLAND

LOCAL STRIPPERS OF ILLUSION OF DEERPARK TO HOLD RALLY AND PROTEST FOR NEW YORK STATE STRIPPER POLE TAX TO BE ADDED TO GENTLEMAN'S CLUBS ON LONG ISLAND TO HELP CASH STRAPPED LOCAL SCHOOLS

TAX TO BEGIN THIS WEEKEND WHEN FORMER LONG ISLAND LOLOITA AMY FISHER PERFORMS

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Mineola NY) Local Long Island Strippers of Illusions of Deer Park and Mothers will hold a rally and protest tomorrow on Wednesday May 12th 2010 at 11:30amoutside the south steps of the New York State Supreme Court Building in Mineola to add a Strip pole tax similar to the one in the State of Texas to save New York State from bankruptcy and help local school children. The owners of Illusion Gentleman's Club of Deerpark NY and other local clubs are adding a voluntary surcharge that will be given the State of New York. The recent tax crisis has caused many local Long Island school programs to cut there activities. The strippers and owners felt if men are being entertained by paying for dances then a little extra could be a benefit for  the children in the community that are loosing there sports and extracurricular activities. The State of Texas has so far collected more than $13.6 million from $5 entrance fee to watch nude dancers.

The voluntary pole tax will begin this weekend when Dancer, Mom and former Lolita Amy Fisher hits the pole this weekend on May 14th and 15th to entertain fans and raise lots of money for local Long Island Schools. They hope to keep the tax throughout the year to improve the health, safety and well being of the region.
