Photography / Video Art / Installation / Performing Art Deadline: May 31st, 2013  Prize: 1 International Exhibition organized by International ArtExpo and 3 Art Residences   International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, installations and performances to include in the next 2013 Exhibition:   Liquid Borders - International Art Exhibition of Photography, Video Art, Installation and Performing Art held in Bari (Italy) in the prestigious and historical locations of Castello Svevo, Santa Teresa dei Maschi Church and Sala Murat.   organizer: International ArtExpo, "La Corte" cultural organization curator: Luca Curci, Fausta Maria Bolettieri press office: It's LIQUID Group openings: - July 3rd, 2013 at Castello Svevo, at 06.30 PM - July 4th, 2013 at Sala Murat and Santa Teresa dei Maschi Church, at 06.30 PM   date: from July 3rd to July 31st 2013; from 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM and from 04.00 PM to 08.00 PM   The deadline for applications is May 31st, 2013.   The selection will be based on the main concept of the hybridization between physical and social identities in contemporary cities, and the mixing between people and space. Urban environments, people, rules and limits are no more distinct realities, but they constantly modify and get mixed together, generating new connections and hybrid results. Ethic, social, sexual and religious borders get confused and metropolis become a puzzle composed by different cities constantly modified by the man.   The whole city of Bari will be involved in this great exhibition, hosting international artists and artworks, collateral art events, conferences and summits.   At the end of the event Marilena Bonomo, the gallery Director of Bonomo Gallery, will award one of the artist with the participation in one of the International Exhibition organized by International ArtExpo and offered by It's Liquid Group and 3 art residences at Palazzo Calò Carducci in Bari, Tenuta Pinto in Mola di Bari (Bari) and Palazzo Siena in Minervino di Lecce (Lecce).   The Castello Svevo (Swabian Castle) was built around 1132 by Norman King Roger II. The Castle is surrounded by a moat on all sides, except the northern section, which was bordering the sea and can be accessed from the bridge and the gate on the southern side. It is mainly composed of the Aragon walls and the main Swabian tower, and is currently used for exhibitions.   Sala Murat is a cultural space of 400 square meters located in Ferrarese Square, in the centre of Bari. It's dedicated to art and contemporary exhibition, workshops and conferences. Inside the space it's permanently exhibited a wall drawing by the famous minimalist artist Sol LeWitt.   The Church Santa Teresa dei Maschi was built between 1690 and 1696 as reported in the tympanum of the front lunette. The interior has a Greek cross with arms covered with barrel vaults and the central square covered by a pointed arch dome. Inside can be admired paintings by Andrea Miglionico and some ancient sculptures of the mysteries of the Passion of the Christ from the church of Vallisa. MIXED BORDERS & HYBRID IDENTITIES | Riccione 2013 opening: April 26, 2013   MIXED BORDERS & HYBRID IDENTITIES an International Art Festival of Photography, Video Art, Video Mapping, Computer Graphics, Painting, Architecture, Installation, Sculpture and Performing Art, will be held in the city of Riccione (Italy) at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, during the Nightshow, Annual Exhibition of the Night-related Industries and Technologies, from April 26th to April 28th, 2013. Fifty-three artists, from different countries, have been selected to be part of this project.   The selection has been based on the main concept of Hybridization and mixing of Identities and borders and it is divided into two sections: MIXED BORDERS and HYBRID IDENTITIES. Nowadays, urban environments, people, rules and limits are no more distinct realities, but they constantly modify and get mixed together, generating new connections and hybrid results. Ethic, social, sexual and religious borders get confused and we feel free to overcome and change all the limits, creating and showing a new type of identity: a crossbreed of characters inserts into a metropolis in which you can find everything you need and become everything you desire.   The exhibition concept is strictly connected to the Nightshow event, since the night is the perfect moment in which all these changes get revealed. Photography / Video Art / Computer Graphics / Painting / Performing Art Deadline: April 21, 2013   Prize: 1 International Exhibition organized by International ArtExpo   After the event, our organization will select the winning artist of 1 International art exhibition organized by International ArtExpo.   International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, computer graphics works, paintings and performances to include in the next 2013 Exhibition:   HYBRIDS - International Art Festival of Photography, Video Art, Computer Graphics, Painting and Performing Art held in Bucarest (Romania) at ApPAC, and in Łódź (Poland) at Strzemiński Academy of Art.   The selection will be based on the main concept of hybridization between identities and urban environment. People, backgrounds, societies, progress and all their inputs creates hybrid identities, modifying each other and being mixed in prospect to shape a better world. Mixing sustainable transport; modern (ICT) communication infrastructure; sustainable economic development; and wise management of natural resources, human, intellectual and social capital, is the key to reach a future better life quality. Be smart. Be hybrid. Be better.   The event is open to photography, video art, computer graphics, painting and performing art.   The deadline for applications is April 21, 2013.   Selected artworks will be presented at:   - Bucarest (Romania) at ApPAC, Asociatia pentru Promovarea Artelor Contemporane, from the 9th to the 16th May 2013. ApPAC, Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Arts, is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by artists and cultural managers in an effort to support and encourage the Romanian cultural values. The Association also aims to support cultural exchange between artists from Romania and from abroad and also their contribution to the development of a healthy cultural environment and educate the public in the spirit of contemporary art, facilitating access to culture.   - Łódź (Poland) at Strzemiński Academy of Art, from May 27th to June 2nd 2013. The Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź was established in 1945 as the Łódź State Art School. It understands the necessity of keeping pace with the newest trends and education concepts in art and design. Call for Artists: HYBRIDS | Bucarest / Łódź 2013 Photography / Video Art / Computer Graphics / Painting / Performing Art   Deadline: April 21, 2013   Prize: 1 International Exhibition organized by International ArtExpo   After the event, our organization will select the winning artist of 1 International art exhibition organized by International ArtExpo.   International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, computer graphics works, paintings and performances to include in the next 2013 Exhibition:   HYBRIDS - International Art Festival of Photography, Video Art, Computer Graphics, Painting and Performing Art held in Bucarest (Romania) at ApPAC, and in Łódź (Poland) at Strzemiński Academy of Art.   The selection will be based on the main concept of hybridization between identities and urban environment. People, backgrounds, societies, progress and all their inputs creates hybrid identities, modifying each other and being mixed in prospect to shape a better world. Mixing sustainable transport; modern (ICT) communication infrastructure; sustainable economic development; and wise management of natural resources, human, intellectual and social capital, is the key to reach a future better life quality. Be smart. Be hybrid. Be better.   The event is open to photography, video art, computer graphics, painting and performing art.   The deadline for applications is April 21, 2013.   Selected artworks will be presented at:   - Bucarest (Romania) at ApPAC, Asociatia pentru Promovarea Artelor Contemporane, from the 9th to the 16th May 2013. ApPAC, Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Arts, is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by artists and cultural managers in an effort to support and encourage the Romanian cultural values. The Association also aims to support cultural exchange between artists from Romania and from abroad and also their contribution to the development of a healthy cultural environment and educate the public in the spirit of contemporary art, facilitating access to culture.   - Łódź (Poland) at Strzemiński Academy of Art, from May 27th to June 2nd 2013. The Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź was established in 1945 as the Łódź State Art School. It understands the necessity of keeping pace with the newest trends and education concepts in art and design.
