This is the first in a series of policy debates held in Brussels throughout 2010. The Financial Times' environment correspondent, Fiona Harvey, will moderate the discussion with:

  • Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, President of the Party of European Socialists, PES;
  • Maria Da Graça Carvalho MEP, Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats);
  • Anne Panneels, Senior Advisor, European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC);
  • representative of the wind industry.
