| 7. IN OUT FESTIVAL 2013 Animations / Documents / Etudes Film / Experiments / Video / Concerts 19-20.04.2013 During the 7th edition of the Festival we want to connect artists with different approaches to the medium of film and education! We invite all artists working in animation, documents, experiments, video, and those who are studying or have completed the academy of fine arts or film schools. The theme of this year's Festival and competition is "Translating the present: contemporary forms of rebellion". The competition will be divided into two stages. Approximately 20 artists from Poland and abroad will be shortlisted for the second stage of the competition and will be invited to attend the festival in Gdańsk and workshops. From among these artists, a winner will be selected by a jury comprising Wojciech Marczewski, Marina Grižnić and Bogna Burska. Awards: First prize funded by the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk Second prize funded by the National Audiovisual Institute In addition, a pool of prizes sponsored by the Festival's partners will be awarded for honorable mentions. The best video works will also be made available on the website of the National Audiovisual Institute (www.ninateka.pl) and released on DVD. Deadline for submission of entries accompanied with a filled out entry form and other required attachements is March 17, 2013!
