RORY STEWART - IRAQ EXPERT AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW

LONDON, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Rory Stewart, award-winning author of Occupational Hazards: My Time
Governing in Iraq will be available for interview Monday 7th- Friday 11th
May.


Rory was posted to Iraq in 2003 at the age of 30 having previously worked
in Indonesia and Montenegro. He was Coalition Provisional Authority Deputy
Governate Coordinator of key provinces of Maysan and later Dhi Qar. He
instigated an employment scheme for thousands, had a budget of US$10m / month
(delivered in cash), negotiated the release of hostage Gary Michael Teeley
and was the last man standing in the CPA compound as it was mortar bombed by
insurgents and the Italian army withdrew across the bridge.


Rory now lives in Kabul.
