| Programme of In Out Festival 2014 Animations / Documentaries / Shortfilms / Experiments / Short video forms / Gigs / Exhibitions / Workshops Centre for Contemporary Art Łaźnia organizes the Festival IN OUT for the 8th time. The project evolves every year searching for new suggestions and solutions. The 7thedition of the festival was enriched with presentations that attempted to combine works of artists with different attitude towards film media and education. With the 8thedition we would like to continue this process in order to create permanent platform of communication between the artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and those who studied at Film Schools. The contest, Festival and exhibition are to trigger the dialogue among the artists as well as between schools and academies. IN THE CONTEXT OF ART 2009 | 42' | Poland | directed by Piotr Weychert The film "Jan Świdziński. In the context of art" is an attempt to portray the artist, who for nearly four decades has been one of the most important theorists of art and entertainment of Polish independent art scene. The picture was created in collaboration with Jan Świdziński and in addition to the documentary aspect it contains short film forms made today on the basis of artist`s unpublished scenarios. 27.04.2014 6p.m. OPAŁKA. ONE LIFE, ONE WORK 2011 | 54' | Poland | directed by Andrzej Sapija In 1965 Roman Opałka started an art project called "1965 / 1 – ∞" and he pledged his life to its ongoing execution. He took passport- style photographs of himself after each day`s work thereby documenting the passing of time and his own aging process. Apart from the artist`s images on canvas he also recorded a series of consecutive natural numbers – in the initial phase of the project the numbers were fixed with white paint on black background.
