Call for artists: LIQUID ROOMS II, July 2015 It's LIQUID Experimental Art Show Deadline: July 01, 2015   It's LIQUID Group, in collaboration with International ArtExpo, is selecting all interesting photo works, experimental video-art works, paintings, installations and performance art works to include in the next 2015 exhibition:   LIQUID ROOMS II – SENSES, experimental art show of photography, video art, installation, painting and performance art, that will be hosted in Venice, at Palazzo Ca' Zanardi and Venice Art House, on July 10, 11 and 12, 2015.   LIQUID ROOMS II is the second appointment of LIQUID ROOMS experimental art show included in the festival SELF, organized in Venice at Palazzo Ca' Zanardi and Venice Art House, starting from the opening day of Venice Art Biennale (May 9, 2015), with a rich program of different events until November 2015. For the first time in Venice we will give audience the possibility to have private meetings with artists, to meet them personally and share their art and experience. Each event will have a strong program of video art screenings and premiers, art residencies, talks, workshops, live dj set, live experimental dance and art performances. After many years of research and exhibitions about the evolution of the idea of identity, we ask artists to share their personal tales through artworks; to create a link between the personal experience and the audience; to tell us which are the stories and reasons beneath their works. More info about SELF festival: www.itsliquid.com/call-self-venice-2015.html   The festival SELF is organized and curated by Luca Curci (director of It's LIQUID and International ArtExpo) and Andrea Chinellato (director of Ca' Zanardi and Venice Art House), and supported by Comune di Venezia and Provincia di Venezia.   To know more about the first appointment of LIQUID ROOMS I, please check the following link: www.itsliquid.com/feedback-why-self-venice.html   LIQUID ROOMS is an innovative exhibition format divided in 2 sections: the first one consists in dedicated art shows hosted in Palazzo Ca' Zanardi's private rooms/apartments, that artists can use at the same time as exhibition space and art residency (accommodation included); the second one is the collective show hosted in the common area of Palazzo Ca' Zanardi and in VENICE ART HOUSE gallery.   LIQUID ROOMS is an invitation for artists to explore their intimate self and to analyze the relationship between man and space (private and/or public). Opening the doors of their rooms to visitors and crossing the exhibition path through the different venues, artists and audience will disclose and explore the intimate part of their art and beings.   LIQUID ROOMS II – SENSES: the perception of an artwork is commonly linked to the sight sense. Liquid Rooms II – SENSES aims to explore not only the visual side of art but to offer to visitors a complete experience of artworks through all the 5 senses. Artists are invited to present works which describes their vision of the world and their personal life through the perception of their senses.   Selection is open to video art, photography, painting, sculpture/installation, art performance and experimental dance. Artists, photographers, video makers and performers are invited to submit their works and projects. Artists are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.   It's possible to organize dedicated exhibition and solo show in Venice Art House, Ca' Zanardi and other available spaces we have in Venice.
