Deadline: April 07, 2013 International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, computer graphics works, paintings, architecture projects, installations, sculptures and performances to include in the next 2013 Exhibition: MIXED BORDERS & HYBRID IDENTITIES - International Art Exhibition of Photography, Video Art, Computer Graphics, Painting, Architecture, Installation, Sculpture and Performing Art held in Riccione (Italy) during the Nightshow, Annual Exhibition of the Night-related Industries and Technologies (www.nightshow-riccione.com). organizer: International ArtExpo curator: Luca Curci press office: It's LIQUID Group opening: April 26, 2013 at the Conference Centre of Riccione (Italy) date: April 26-27-28, 2013 The deadline for applications is April 07, 2013 The selection will be based on the main concept of the Hybridization and mixing of Identities and borders and it is divided into two sections: MIXED BORDERS and HYBRID IDENTITIES. Nowadays, urban environments, people, rules and limits are no more distinct realities, but they constantly modify and get mixed together, generating new connections and hybrid results. Ethic, social, sexual and religious borders get confused and we feel free to overcome and change all the limits, creating and showing a new type of identity: a crossbreed of characters inserts into a metropolis in which you can find everything you need and become everything you desire. The exhibition concept is strictly connected to the Nightshow event, since the night is the perfect moment in which all these changes get revealed. During the night the borders vibrate and identities start to get confused. To take part in the selection, send your works submissions with a CV/biography, videography and some still images (only for video artists and performers), some samples of works (only for artists) or projects (only for architects) via email to lucacurci@lucacurci.com or via mail to: International ArtExpo Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 33 70122 Bari, Italy The number of works you can submit is free and unlimited. The participation in the International Art Festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation open to: artists, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.
