Brian Powley brings more than 20 years of traditional and interactive
advertising and marketing experience to iCrossing, San Francisco, where he
will oversee the operations and strategic direction of the office.
iCrossing's San Francisco office doubled in size following the acquisition of
NewGate Internet last December. Powley comes to iCrossing from Modem Media,
where he was managing director of Modem Media West. Before Modem Media, he
served as managing director, West, at MRM Worldwide, a unit of McCann
Worldgroup where he was responsible for the strategic and financial
leadership of four regional offices. Prior to that, he was general manager of
MRM San Francisco, where he doubled both the size and revenues of that
office. Brian has held account management, business development and executive
leadership roles at agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, OgilvyOne Worldwide,
and Mediaplex Inc.
As managing director, Europe, Larry K.H. Jenkins will lead iCrossing's
growth in the European market. Jenkins was instrumental in the acquisition of
Spannerworks, the leading U.K. search-marketing agency, in February of this
year and will open iCrossing's London office. Jenkins previously served as
executive vice president of client services and strategic accounts for
iCrossing and directed relationships for several Fortune 500 clients,
including The Coca-Cola Company, Bank of America and General Motors. Before
joining iCrossing, he held senior executive positions for multiple Fortune
500 companies, including Nestle, Tyson Foods and Encompass. At Tyson, Jenkins
was international and military vice president of marketing & sales, where he
directed global marketing, advertising, sales and product development in more
than 45 countries.
"The demand for search-driven digital marketing continues to grow at a
break-neck pace globally," said Jeffrey Herzog, CEO and founder of iCrossing.
"Brian's and Larry's proven track records of success, and their deep
understanding of search as the common pathway that consumers use to engage
with brands make them the ideal people to drive iCrossing's growth in two of
our most important markets."
